Postscript is an SMS platform for ecommerce. Connecting it to Afflo lets you send text messages that respond to partner activity — a gentle way to reach creators who already share their number.

What it does

  • Sends affiliate events to Postscript (joined, first sale, payout sent)
  • Syncs partner properties so you can segment SMS lists
  • Lets Postscript automations trigger from Afflo events

Before you start

  • A Postscript account
  • API key from Postscript → Settings → API

Connect

  1. Create an API key in Postscript.
  2. In Afflo, open Integrations → Marketing → Postscript and click Connect.
  3. Paste the key and save.

  • Welcome SMS to affiliates who opt in to texting
  • “Your payout is on the way” confirmations
  • Urgent campaign pushes (“Launch today — grab your code now”)

Tips

  • SMS has a much lower tolerance for volume than email. Reserve it for messages with clear, timely value.
  • Always honor opt-outs; Postscript manages this, but double-check your affiliate SMS list is opted in.

Troubleshooting

Events missing in Postscript. Confirm the API key has write access. Try a manual test from Postscript’s event log to rule out connectivity issues.
